Born from the collaboration between Voto XO and Maison Delisle, Ornes explores the convergence of contemporary design and ornamental craftsmanship. Chiselled metal meets translucent forms in a composition that is both raw and refined. Inspired by the language of jewelry, it balances opacity and light, texture and resonance, resulting in a sculptural presence charged with tension and subtlety.
Voto XO
Based in Marseille since 2022, Voto XO is a design, interior architecture, and research studio founded by Madeleine Oltra and Angelo de Taisne. Winners of the Grand Prix Van Cleef & Arpels at Design Parade Toulon in 2022, the duo creates narrative universes where intention, form, and context come together as a cohesive whole. Their creations draw from the spirit of ex-votos, those pagan “vows” rooted in simplicity and the search for meaning. Each collaboration, crafted in close partnership with local artisans, reflects a deep attention to detail and materiality.
