Exceptional models from DELISLE are the ambassadors of a century-old know-how

Sphinx office
When he returned to St. Petersburg in 1910, rehabilitated by the Tsar after a few years of exile in Paris, Grand Duke Paul asked Henry Delisle, with whom he had befriended him to draw and make the elements of decor of his new palace of Tsarkoe Selo. Among the objects that he draws for him, is this office very neoclassical spirit carried by four spangled bronze sphinxes that highlight the talent of the designer and the expertise of cabinetmakers Paris.








Chandelier created for the Tsarskoe-Selo Palace
When he returned to St. Petersburg in 1910, rehabilitated by the Tsar after a few years of exile in Paris, Grand Duke Paul asked Henry Delisle, with whom he had befriended him to draw and make the elements of decor of his new palace of Tsarkoe Selo. He manufactures all the chandeliers of the palace and, in particular, a Montgolfiere chandelier always of neoclassical spirit with patinated bronze vests that support cups carrying a few complementary candles.





Ambassadors' lantern
At Delisle, all our models have a long life et can always be produced again. As with this lantern painted by Henry Delisle after the lantern of Ambassadors stair in Versailles, that has been made for the beautiful Rothschild family house, that is now the residence of the US ambassador.






Tsar Nicolas II's chandelier
Designed for Tsar Nicolas II's hunt datcha around 1905, this chandelier had been made only once, and only document left was the watercolor of this highly colored model. Delisle was challenged to manufacture it again.







Wall sconces from Tsarskoe Selo
In 1913, DELISLE was appointed to create several light fixtures for the grand Duke Paul of Russia's palace in Tsarskoe Selo.
Upon a customer's request, DELISLE recently recreated this wall sconce in leaf gold plated wood and bronze.






Foliage and porcelain flowers chandelier
In the nature spirit who swept over the XVIII century, Nature inspire materials and decorative objects. Wall sconces, candelabras and chandeliers adorn themselves with foliage and porcelain flowers.






Lanterne de Tsarskoe Selo
From the watercolor of a small cristal and glass lantern drawn by Henri Delisle for the Tsarskoe Selo palace of his Highness the Duke Paul of Russia in 1907, we were asked to create a bigger model with identical proportions.






Clock in Versailles
Having discovered the Delisle founder, Henry Delisle, was established watchmaker of the King of Serbia and the King of Belgium over a century ago, a customer recently ordered a reproduction of the big clock of Versailles.
